Job Description
Simultaneously handle incoming phone calls and customer orders; notify customers of status and delivery changes; respond to sales inquiries from C.O.D. customers; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience: 1-year dispatching or customer service experience preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of construction industry a plus. PC skills required. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills a must. Must have ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Must be flexible on work hours, especially early morning.

LIQUID ASPHALT MANAGER
 

Location: Saugus, MA

Job Description
• Purchasing of all Liquid Asphalt from several sources in sufficient quantity to satisfy all internal requirements and external sales
• Schedule incoming shipments to maximize available tank space while maintaining sufficient inventory on hand to meet sales requirements. Work closely with Marine Transportation companies to secure barge/ship availability when needed.
• Manage inventory and distribution through terminals in Everett, MA and New Haven, CT.
• Manage, maintain and expand outside sales through regular customer contact and on going monitoring of market areas.
• Monitor regional suppliers and refiners to insure adequate supply is obtained at competitive prices.
• Administer QC plan to ensure compliance to satisfy requirements for the six New England States.
• Develop annual budgets based on internal requirements and external sales projections.
• Work together with Bituminous Management and other Senior Managers to develop short and long term business strategies for this division

Qualifications
Experience: 5 years experience in a Managerial position in a similar field with sales and marketing experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or the equivalent.

Skills: Excellent communication skills required. Must be proficient in using a PC, experience with Excel and Microsoft Word necessary. Knowledge of the Construction Industry is preferred. Must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication with customers and sales is a must.
