Jeffrey Clark wth his trophy at the National Mixer Driver Championship AI Employee Shines at the National Truck Rodeo Competition Jeffrey Clark from Crofton Plant Takes Second Place at the National Mixer Driver Championship Indianapolis, Indiana, October 18, 2009 – Aggregate Industries employee Jeffrey Clark, of the Crofton Plant, took second place at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Fourth Annual National Mixer Driver Championship. The competition was held early last week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Visual Vehicle Inspection - The ability to conduct a timed Visual Inspection of a mixer vehicle, similar to what drivers do during a pre-trip inspection.
Driving Challenge Course - Eight predetermined “challenges” set up in a closed course to test driving skills. Written Examination - Test questions based on information from the “Concrete Delivery Professional” and the “Truck Driver Mixer Manual.” What made this achievement even more special for Jay, originally from Indiana, is that his parents still live there and were able to cheer him on from the audience. |
