For over 60 years, Holcim has manufactured American Petroleum Institute (API) Class L and H well cements featuring predictable thickening time (set time), high sulfate resistance, long term performance, fluid loss control, consistency, low viscosity, low free fluid and strength.
Our manufacturing plants, distribution centers, sales offices and technical staff are strategically located to service oil and gas exploration across North America, offering superior supply chain execution to ensure consistent product availability and timely delivery.
Product quality, consistency and continuous testing. When well cement for the oil and gas industry is produced, the clinker is analyzed microscopically to ensure it has the required characteristics. A keen level of attention continues throughout production with thickening time evaluations, a fluid loss and free fluid evaluation, rheology, particle size evaluation, compressive strength measurement and complete API specification testing. From start to finish, our technical experts monitor the performance of our product in end-market applications to provide continuous improvement to our product and service portfolio.
